Now for The Fine Print

• Item Location:  Items may be located in our retail store, online, seasonal storage, laundry, or warehouse for cleaning and repair as they move through the consignment process.  All items are tagged with individually assigned consigner numbers for identification.
• No Markdown Policy: We do not mark down items once they have been accepted for consignment. We believe in fair pricing for both our consignors and customers and strive to maintain consistency in our pricing model.
• OOLABE Invests to Ensure Item Quality: Upon acceptance of items for consignment, we invest in ensuring their quality by providing professional laundry and cleaning services. This ensures that all items are presented in the best possible condition to our customers.
• Handling Costs and Return Policy: Due to the costs associated with processing and handling consigned items, we regret that we are unable to return items to consignors that retail under $100 in their current verifiable retail price. This policy allows us to maintain our commitment to quality service and enables us to continue offering fair compensation to our consignors.
• Acceptance Criteria: We carefully review all items submitted for consignment and accept those that meet our quality and safety standards. Items must be clean, free of tears, pilling, fragrance, and fading, meeting all current safety standards. We reserve the right to refuse items that do not meet these criteria.
• Pricing and Commission: Prices for consigned items are determined by OOLABE based on factors such as brand, condition, and market demand. Consignors receive a percentage of the final selling price as agreed upon in the consignment contract.
• Consignment Agreement: Leaving items with OOLABE constitutes acceptance of OOLABE Consignment Agreement, outlining the terms and conditions of the consignment process, including pricing, commission rates, and policies regarding return of delivered items.
• Item Disposition: Declined items will be donated or otherwise sustainably disposed of if not retrieved within 3 days of contact by a member of our OOLABE team.
• Storage and Disposal: Items that are not sold may be professionally stored for up to 2 full seasons, at which time OOLABE will determine if items remain active or will be donated or sustainably disposed of. As long as items remain active in the OOLABE inventory system, consigners will continue to receive compensation for sold items.
• Sales Events: From time to time, OOLABE, at its discretion, will conduct sales in which groups of items are marked down for the duration of the sale.
